Contributing Writer
Katrina Beikoff - Gary Smart
I am an award-winning journalist, columnist, editor and media consultant and have just completed my first book -- a travel memoir/social commentary on China.
I have written for publications in the US, UK, China and Australia and have covered politics, health, education, the environment and sport including Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
Among awards I have collected for my work is Australia's highest journalism honour, the Walkley Award, for a world exclusive story during the Sydney Olympic Games on US shot-put champion CJ Hunter's positive doping test and the cover up by sporting officials.
I am currently based in Australia.
